Diagnosis and Management

The CCA’s Professional Advisory Council has prepared two summary documents for medical professionals: Celiac Disease Screening and Diagnosis. This document summarizes the NASPGHAN, WGO and ACG guidelines, and Follow-up Management of Patients with Celiac Disease.

In addition, the CCA has partnered with Dietitians of Canada to develop teaching guidelines and patient handouts for dietitians providing guidance to people diagnosed with celiac disease: Nutrition Assessment, Nutrition Education, Nutritional Complications, and a Patient Handout: Gluten Free Eating / Mange sans gluten
