The public
meetings of the Nova Scotia Chapter are held at the
Veterans Memorial Building, Camp Hill
Medical Center, Room 1613 A , corner of Veterans Memorial Lane,
(formerly Jubilee Rd) and Robie St., Halifax. Meetings start at 7:30
p.m. These regular monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday September to May with the exception of December. The Annual General
Meeting is held in February. Gluten-free lunches are served.
At
the regular meetings, results of the monthly Board meetings are
discussed and appropriate action taken where necessary. The program
committee endeavors to have professionals attend various meetings to
discuss issues, i.e., other related medical conditions or
pharmaceutical products. Also, there is time for discussions, which are
extremely helpful to new members and also, reports from various
committees. At other meetings a bake sale may be held. All meetings are
followed by fellowship and a gluten free lunch.
At the Annual General
Meeting reports are received from Committee Chairs and the Election of
Officers is conducted.
