Why Donate?
A gift to Celiac Canada is like a gift to yourself.
If you’re reading this, chances are you have (or think you may have) celiac disease, or you care for someone who does.
For a person with celiac disease, diagnosis can end years of uncertainty. It also begins a lifetime of vigilance – every food label, school lunch, restaurant meal, hospital stay, and grocery bill matters. Even small amounts of gluten can cause harm, and the only treatment is a strict, lifelong gluten-free diet.
Celiac Canada is working to change that: finding people sooner, making treatment safer and more equitable, improving gluten-free food affordability, and accelerating the research that can lead to better therapies and, one day, a cure.
Canadians turn to Celiac Canada for current, evidence-based advice, practical knowledge, advocacy and support. For individuals, families, healthcare professionals and partners, we are the trusted national standard for celiac information and support.
