Step Up for Celiac
Show you're stronger than gluten! Support "Step for Celiac 2026"
October 1 – 31 2026
Get active. Have fun. Help find a cure!
Canadians living with celiac disease know what it means to be stronger than gluten. This October, we’re coming together to prove it through Step for Celiac 2026, a virtual peer-to-peer fundraiser supporting the 1 in 100 Canadians affected by celiac disease.
Whether you choose to walk, run, ride, hike, swim, or take on your own activity challenge, you’re invited to complete 5 km or more and raise vital funds to create a better future for the celiac community. Participate on your own, with family and friends, or as part of a team, wherever you live in Canada.
There is no registration fee to join, but we ask each participant to raise a minimum of $200 to help us reach our ambitious goal of $70,000 by October 31. Every dollar raised will support Celiac Canada’s Research and Advocacy Funds, helping advance critical research toward a cure while advocating for more affordable gluten-free food options and stronger, safer food labelling standards.
New for 2026: thanks to a generous matching grant, every dollar you raise will be doubled, meaning your impact on research, advocacy, and support for Canadians with celiac disease will go twice as far.
Join us this October and take every step with purpose. Together, we can raise awareness, strengthen our community, and move closer to a future where no one has to worry about living with celiac disease. Let’s show Canada that we’re stronger than gluten!
