Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
    • ½ cup brown sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 cup Valley Kitchen all-purpose flour
    • ½ cup Valley Kitchen oatmeal
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • ½ cup chocolate chips

    Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350oF.

    Line 2 small, or 1 large, baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Using an electric hand or counter-top mixer, cream the butter and brown sugar.

    Beat in the egg and vanilla. Add the Valley Kitchen all-purpose flour, Valley Kitchen oatmeal baking powder, and chocolate chips.

    Mix with a heavy spoon or spatula.

    Scoop the dough onto the lined baking sheets.

    Bake for 10-12 minutes.

    Move to a rack to cool.
