Real Deal Stuffing

Learn how to make this Real Deal Stuffing that you can bring to all of your festive gatherings this holiday season!
Serves 6

Time: 45-60 minutes


    • 1 Loaf of Little Northern Bakehouse Gluten-Free Bread, cut into 3/4-inch cubes and left to dry out overnight
    • 2 gluten-free, plant-based sausages, cooked + crumbled
    • 2 green pears, diced 
    • 1/2 white onion, diced 
    • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 1  Tbsp non-dairy buttery spread
    • 1 Tbsp olive oil 
    • 1 Tbsp fresh sage
    • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
    • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds 
    • Salt and pepper to taste


    1. Pre-heart Oven to 350’F



    In a large skillet or sauté pan, melt the buttery spread over medium high heat. Add olive oil, onions, sausage, garlic, and pears, and cook together, stirring often, until sausage is browned, and onion and pears are soft and golden. Add the sage, and season to finish. Set aside


    In a large bowl, combine toasted bread cubes and vegetable broth, and stir until bread cubes are slightly hydrated, but not soggy. Add the cooked vegetable and sausage mixture and pumpkin seeds and mix until fully combined.


    Bake in a lightly greased casserole dish for 15 minutes.
