Rustic White Savory French Toast

15 Minutes Preparation. Makes 2 Servings.

    Ingredients

    • 4 slices Promise Gluten Free soft white loaf
    • 1 egg
    • Splash of milk
    • 1 teaspoon of butter
    • 1 handful of spinach
    • 4 sliced mushrooms
    • 1 fried egg
    • Salt and pepper to season

    Instructions

    Beat eggs and milk in a shallow dish and then soak slices of bread in this in turn.

    Fry the bread in a hot frying pan with a little butter till golden on both sides.

    In a separate frying pan, sauté the mushrooms until golden and at the end add the spinach to wilt.

    Top with a fried egg, season with salt and pepper and serve.
