Get ready to make something you won’t want to share. This quick and easy classic hummus is great to send to school with your child. This dip is best served with Nairn’s Original Gluten Free Flatbread, cucumbers, and carrots, but get creative! Serves 8
Ingredients
A 15.5oz can of chickpeas
2 tbsp of olive oil
3 tbsp of tahini paste
1 crushed clove of garlic (or two if you like it especially garlicky)
2 tbsp of lemon juice

. Drain the chickpeas, throw everything into a food
processor and whizz it up until it’s at the consistency you
like.

If it’s too thick for even the sturdiest Flatbread to handle,
simply add a small drop of water, whizz in your food
processor, and repeat until it’s just as you like it.

If you’re feeling fancy, you can sprinkle some choppedparsley, grated lemon zest, paprika or roasted vegetables over the topwith a little swirl of olive oil.
